The BC Chamber of Commerce is the largest business association in British Columbia. It represents 100 chambers of commerce and boards of trade, plus 36,000 businesses of every size and from every industry sector and region of the province.
With a 70-year history, the BC Chamber of Commerce is a key voice in the business community, influencing public policy to empower British Columbia’s businesses. The Chamber is dedicated to addressing members’ needs and providing proactive advocacy, programs, services, and resources. To better serve its members, the BC Chamber decided to redesign its website.
Technical excellence behind the scenes
We worked with the BC Chamber to implement a more flexible and user-friendly content management system, making updates and maintenance easier.
The addition of e-commerce capabilities, customizable forms, and password-protected sections significantly improved the website’s functionality. To streamline processes further, we seamlessly integrated third-party tools such as Mailchimp, Zoom, Eventbrite, and Chamber Master.
Accessibility and aesthetics
We have updated the branding elements to give the Chamber a unique and cohesive look. However, our focus was not solely on aesthetics. Our goal was to create a design that works efficiently on mobile devices, ensuring smooth navigation on all screens and improving accessibility.
Thorough content strategy
Our content strategy focused on effectively informing members and non-members about the Chamber’s valuable benefits. The new website is results-oriented and features data on policy wins, advocacy efforts, and corporate partnerships. We also optimized the content for search engines.
